Why market your business online? Let me as you this, What if you could tap into the BIGGEST market place in the world? A market where currently there’s 1.5 Billion users and growing. Wouldn’t you want a share of that market? What would it do for your business?

So what is this market that just keeps growing and growing? It’s the INTERNET. The internet is growing by leaps and bounds on a daily basis, and there is only TWO reasons why you would want to market your business online. These reasons are EXPOSURE & COST.

The internet has leveled the playing field for today’s entrepreneur. No longer do you have to have thousands of dollars to start a business and spend additional thousands of dollars on marketing your business.

With websites like facebook, squidoo, youtube, twitter and my space just to name a few, the internet has allowed small business owners to tap into the largest market in the world to advertise their business at a very low or no cost all and have MASSIVE EXPOSURE.

Today’s consumer no longer picks up print advertising pieces, if they want something they jump online to get whatever is that they want, whether it’s information or a new pair of sneakers. This massive movement in the online world has changed the way business is done around the world.

So why wouldn’t you market your business online? The typical answer would be, “I don’t know how to”

The good news is that you don’t have to be an online Wiz to learn how to market online, but you do have to invest a little bit of time learning a new skill set that can help pay you for life.

The online market just keeps getting bigger and traditional forms of advertising like magazines, newspapers and even TV are becoming a thing of the past, and if there is one thing I know for sure is that “you can not make money in the past”. You have to stay in front of the trends and look forward to the future.

This raises another question? Is a traditional brick and mortar business even  a viable way of business anymore?

That’s a very good question, and the answer to that is, in some cases. But for the most part the trends are pointing towards home based businesses.  Home based businesses allow you to tap into the huge market of the internet with no need to carry inventory, have employees, payroll, insurance, and rent as you would in a traditional business. It allows you to leverage the technology so that you can automate 90% of the tasks allowing you just to concentrate on revenue producing actives and freeing up your time to do other things as well.

It’s always about trends, but for the most part if you have a business, you want to market your business online, if you want to have a strong and healthy business that can thrive in today’s 21st century economy.
